Great pics! Those toms look tasty. I also tried to grow beetroot (in Inverness, years ago)...I love those knobbly little seeds! Like you, when I pulled the beetroot up for a peek, I couldn't believe how mini they were - after all those months! I was once a fab potato grower - our veg beds were edged with big paving slabs... in retrospect, this must have been really good for heat retention.
From personal experience, I feel allotments are difficult because of all that grass, which is forever encroaching.
Well done on the garlic. I cannot crack it. Tomatoes - I think I'm done with greenhouse ones. I can't be faffed with all that watering, and I think the outside ones - yes, even here in the north of Scotland - taste much better and less "cooked" by extreme greenhouse heat.

Beautiful snaps of the glorious vegetables. Makes me hungry. :)
Wish you were here to share a plate!

'can't be faffed' - totally agree, let's be selective with gardening quests!
That’s interesting re the tomatoes. I had assumed the greenhouse was vital but obviously not!
I grew the garlic in a raised bed, old builders crate… quite poor sandy soil…
Well done🤗
